We were contracted by the owner of a coffee shop in Columbia, SC to develop an organizational identity, logo, and marketing campaign for “Locals Coffee & Tap”. We conducted a discovery session and developed several potential logos; however due to a last minute change in the shop, we ended up going in a different direction. We still wanted to showcase this logo as a successful example of coffee shop branding. From our session, below describes the experience we found would come with the cafe:
Locals is creating community at the heart of Canalside and the Riverwalk. It is an extension of one’s living room where every visitor is surrounded with good company, personal connection, and great service. Coming back to Locals Coffee & Tap is as comfortable as (and maybe even more than) coming home for the holidays. People drive out of their way to come to Locals and find a place where people know their name, care about how they are doing, and the coffee is at least about as good as anywhere else.
Just like home.
